Spotify Raises Limit of 10.000 Songs to Umlimited

The music streaming service Spotify will soon allow to store more than 10,000 songs in the library.

Until now, in Spotify you could store up to 10,000 songs in the library, this limit is now being removed. However, this does not apply to individual playlists and downloads.

According to an entry in the community forum of Spotify, there were many requests to lift this limit, specifically 12,500 votes in one poll. Spotify heard the call. Unlimited songs and albums can be saved in the library. However, playlists are still limited to 10,000 songs, as is the upper limit of 10,000 songs that can be played offline on five different devices. The increase will “soon” be available to all users.

Until about two years ago, the limit for offline downloads was 3333 songs per device, with three devices allowed. After complaints in forums and community pages, Spotify has raised it to 10,000 titles.
